Day one was Coron town inland tour.

We gave Gabi three choices for her 3rd birthday celebration: Jollibee, Bahay, or Pool. She would repeat those options with her three fingers up in the air, imitating how her tito enumerated them. And she would end up with “Pool!”.
We trailed a little up north this weekend.
After a series of go-no go discussions with some friends, my buddy and I firmly decided to hit the road to Zambales despite the erratic weather condition here in Manila for the past several days and the extended 5-day forecast by accuweather and PAGASA for our destination. After all, what could a few raindrops and light breeze possibly do to ruin our little summer outing? 
So, with our backpacks and snorkling gears ready, we left the Victory Liner terminal in Pasay City around 530AM to Olongapo. We weren’t able to catch the 5Am bus ride to Sta.Cruz/Iba, which would pass by San Antonio, our drop-off. We were trapped in a traffic mess somewhere in Subic, causing our trip to last for six hours. From Olongapo, we rode another Victory Liner bus going to Sta. Cruz/Iba to reach San Antonio.
Things had been really, really crazy for the past few weeks. We were both weighed down– he had been handling issues regarding several base stations, plus dealing with an unsympathetic officemate; I had had deliverables for three products with overlapping review dates and code locks, plus other “issues”. And because of these, we planned to splurge and mark our third year with some sort of hassle-free indulgence here in Manila. [For two years in a row, we went to Caleruega and Sonya’s Garden for the same event.]
Day 4: March 8
530AM, on our way back to PPC. Entire trip was relatively quiet. Slumber time for everyone, waking up ever so often just to check out the time or the view outside. [The mood was probably due to exhaustion from the activities the previous day, or maybe because we were hoping to stay a little longer. We stopped by a small eatery along the highway for a coffee break.]
