Our company had its annual Trick or Treat last Friday. It’s a sort of family day for all employees, who enthusiastically dress up their kids (own kids, nieces or nephews, or any kid they want to bring) in the scariest or cutest thing they can fnd for Halloween. We took Gabi as a pixie to the party. Gab and her mom Giselle initially wanted her to become a lady bee then a forest fairy until my buddy and I were able to find this piece of outfit that would look nicely on her. That was after two to three hours of roaming around Makati malls. She filled up her large green pumpkin and her Tito‘s camera bag with sweets, and sang Moon River before a large audience brought together in the small Rizal 1 and 2 rooms— making her mom and granny very proud.

Right there and then, I somehow pinned down the lapse. So, as my scheduled Live Meeting session proceeded that same morning, I slipped a few browsing about the technical terms— signals and categories. Read the rest of this entry »
Tito, look meron flood. That was little Gabi, peering over the window and watching a shallow water flow near the gate. A few hours after that, we started to have our own wetlands, which lasted for two days. First flood experience, and quite an experience at that. [We had one in the province but I was too young (or tiny?) then to help with the carrying of things from a certain level to the next.] Read the rest of this entry »
